At a recent project in Modbury North, we built a composite pathway deck using Ekodeck Designer Series boards in the Ironwood colour. The new decking provides a durable, low-maintenance walkway that blends naturally with the surrounding landscape.
The focus of this project was to create a practical and tidy path solution that complements the outdoor area while offering a long-lasting alternative to timber. The Ironwood finish gives a natural timber look with the added benefit of being resistant to weathering and fading.

Scope: Replace existing deck with a new subframe and Spotted Gum decking, complete with custom-built stairs and a handraiL

We recently completed a deck replacement project in Ridgehaven, removing the old structure and installing a new subframe with premium Spotted Gum decking. This custom timber deck also included new stairs and a handrail, built to enhance both safety and style. The new subframe was constructed using H3 treated pine joists, protected with decking tape to extend the life of the structure and prevent moisture damage over time.

The new decking boards, finished in Kapur, completely transformed the outdoor area, providing a fresh, modern look while maintaining structural integrity. Kapur is a great choice for high-traffic areas, thanks to its natural durability and ability to withstand the elements.

Scope: Replaced balcony decking boards with Merbau while keeping the existing subframe, giving the area a fresh look ahead of the property going on the market.

In Greenwith, we upgraded a tired balcony deck in preparation for the home going on the market. The existing subframe was still structurally sound, so we replaced only the decking boards, giving the space a clean, updated finish. The new Merbau boards instantly lifted the look of the balcony, adding warmth and appeal for potential buyers. It’s a cost-effective way to increase value and street appeal before selling.
